Established by the late Kenneth Clark and his wife, Ellen Woolfitt and continues to be supported by their families.
The late Kenneth Clark was a Vancouver City Public Health Officer who worked out of the community health units throughout the city. He always believed that nurses are the backbone of the health system, the glue that keeps it together and functioning. Therefore, when he retired, he and his wife, Ellen Woolfitt, set up this bursary to help student nurses with their education. While they have both passed away, the family has continued contributing to the fund in their memory.
