Doree Family Memorial Bursary

Joan Doree established this bursary in honour of her parents, whom she credited with enabling her to become a nurse by giving her the financial support to enter St. Paul’s School of Nursing in Saskatoon in 1937. Joan was a founding member of the Registered Nurses Foundation of British Columbia and served two terms as Director on the RNABC board. Joan has passed away, but her family and friends continue to honour her by supporting this bursary.
